3|13 Friday Feed Favorites

Daylight savings, Friday the 13th, the C-19 word, Spring Break, and two birthdays all in one week. Let's just say it's been a little bit crazy here on the home front. I'm sure you can feel me on this. While there is certainly concern for what is going on in the world and in our communities I am once again reminded of the value of home.

We are being told to "go home". To "stay home". For the benefit of all. Yes, this is absolutely good council (google Flatten the Curve for more info). But the question I've been asking myself all week (and no, it's not where I can buy TP - thank goodness) is why can we not take this approach all the time? Home is a place of refuge. Of peace. Of safety. And it doesn't have to be only in time of world-wide panic. While the way the walls are finished and the room sizes differ, we all long for a place to call home. It's is totally okay to go home, to stay home, to be home.... ANY time.

The greatest work we will ever do is within the walls of our own home. How about we take this forced time to "stay home" as an opportunity to not only help the world, but to help our families. To help our souls. To be better and to get better.
