I remember the first time I heard what has come to be one of my favorite sayings, "When you love what you do you never work a day in your life." It was my lightbulb moment. When I realized work didn't have to be a chore. That it wasn't an ends to a mean. That it was supposed to be fun. And, more importantly, it was supposed to be something I loved. I am very fortunate to have found my passion early on, but life has a way of having some hills and mountains along the way that make that direct path to what you want a little more challenging. But, all good things take time, and are worth it in the long run.
Richmond and Bottjer has been a labor of love and dreams long before the date Uncle Sam said we were official. I have always, and I mean, ALWAYS, loved homes. It's like the love you have for family and children- there isn't a capacity to contain it. The love grows as your family grows. This is how it is with our business. Just when I think I couldn't love homes any more, we meet new clients and our heart grows a bit more (kind of like the Grinch but without being the Grinch). The way my heart skips a beat when I hear clients talk about what they are dreaming of building, it reminds me of the dreams of building I've always had. The dreams I am doing. The dream I am loving. And the dream that isn't work.
This week's #RBFeedFavorites are more client favorites as well as a few things I came across that made my heart skip a beat. Those scroll stopping, heart skipping images and moments. They mean something. Be sure to save them!
